Objective
The goal of this exercise was to create a visual representation of the standings changes from one season to the other of the different teams within the English Premier League.
Methodology
I chose a Sankey diagram to illustrate the position change for 2 main reasons:
- They are more suitable to represent evolution from one period to another.
- Sankey diagram makes data with multiple variables easy to digest.
Findings
- The size of the arrow make represent the biggest standing change.
- The color shade show positive change (green) compared to negative change(red).
- As a bonus, I have the same information represented in a column for easy computation.
